What you need to know

*This class takes place outdoors in North Passive Triangle Park in Bay Harbor Islands. Provide your child with a fun-filled class that will help expose them to a wide variety of art processes and sensory materials over the course of the session. Each week we will add to a canvas that the children will take home at the end of the session as a beautiful keepsake. ----------- Smocked Art and Sensory classes are 45 minutes and require a caregiver present with each child (with the exception for one caregiver to two child siblings). Each class uses a variety of different tools, materials, and art processes each week. We use all taste-safe sensory materials and non-toxic art supplies. WHAT TO BRING: We like to say “dress for mess!” That includes the caregiver, too. Most of the materials we use are washable, but we do recommend dressing in clothing that can be easily laundered and potentially stained and please being a change of clothes just in case. Please wait until after class ends to feed your child a snack, as we are trying to create a distinction between the materials (some of which may be food-based) and eating. ALLERGIES: Please let us know in advance if your child has any food allergies (particularly wheat, rice, corn, or oat). RAIN POLICY Smocked will call all weather related decisions. If a class is cancelled due to weather a make-up class will either be scheduled or a credit for a future class will be issued. Some classes may proceed in light rain drizzle depending on location.
